HOYO LA AMISTAD CIGARS BY AJ FERNANDEZ

The Hoyo La Amistad line is a collaboration between cigar giant General Cigar Co. and boutique cigar maker AJ Fernandez; who blended and is rolling the cigars in his Nicaragua factory, Tabacalera Fernandez. The Hoyo La Amistad will be a limited release, the blend is a full-bodied cigar that is comprised of an Ecuador Habano wrapper and binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí, Ometepe, Condega, Jalapa regions of Nicaragua.

The Hoyo La Amistad combines AJ’s love of tobacco and blending with the knowledge of Hoyo’s cigar makers in Honduras and Nicaragua. AJ Fernandez put his heart and soul into the creation of this blend; he grew up near the Hoyo de Monterrey farm and he has always had a love for the brand. According to AJ, “this project represents how far my family and I have come since Cuba, and how our expertise in tobacco continues to be recognized. This cigar represents the best of me and my factory and I am proud to be a part of this collaboration.”
