CAO Pilon Anejo Cigars - 20ct Box
CAO Pilon Anejo is a three vitola line of premium cigars that are the long awaited follow-up to the original 90-rated CAO Pilon cigars . As the name implies, this second follow up once again uses the 19th century method of Pilon cured tobaccos, which is a carefully layered stack of tobacco leaves that helps ferment the tobacco to maximize the flavor and color of the leaves. The blend for Anejo which roughly translates to "aged pile," uses a combination of Nicaraguan binder and long fillers, covered by a beautiful , oily, Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf. While most cigars utilize the standard fermentation process of drying the tobacco in a traditional pilon, CAO goes one step further by aging the tobaccos an additional two years so that its flavors reach their maximum potential. The end result is a medium-to -full bodied smoke, offering luscious tasting notes of spice, leather, cashews, and hints of chocolate. Only 5,000 affordable boxes of 20 were made.
